Air Conditioners

Your comfort at all times is our concern. We therefore fitted a cooling and heating systems with a handy remote with which you can set the temperature in your rooms!

Airport Transport

Transport to and from Cape Town International can be arranged in addition to Saldanha Airport. Please make arrangements in advance by contacting us directly.

Bar

All rooms and self catering units have a stocked mini fridge.

Bathrooms

We know that the bathroom is an essential for relaxing and therefore we have taken great care to make it an experience.
Enjoy the massaging jets of our shower tower or sit back and relax with candles in the bath.
Just remember to make sure that you mix the water of the shower before using it.
There are two sets of taps. The mixer has a lift action to allow water flow.

Barbeques

Our self catering units have private patios and built- in barbeques. We prefer you to use fire briquettes or consult the office should you plan to do a barbeque.
We supply the rooster.

Beauty Salon & Body Treatments

We are able to arrange on-site beauty treatments for you if arranged in advance with reception.

Breakfast

We serve a full English or Continental breakfast for our Bed and Breakfast guests. Self Catering guests will be catered for at additional costs.

Coffee Shop

Our coffee shop on-site caters for delicious cream teas, fabulous cakes and house coffee to die for. Open daily with uninterrupted sea views, come and relax at Jane's Coffee Shop.

Fire

In the event of a fire, please alert other guests and management and proceed to the outside of the premises on the Beach Road side of the property if possible.

Fresh Air

The room has been custom fitted with a fresh air supply system for your convenience. No need to open windows!

Internet Facilities

Wi-Fi available in the comfort of your own room at an additional charge which will be levied to your final room account. Internet and fax facilities are also available in the office.

Hairdryers

The hairdryer is fitted in the drawer.
Kindly ensure that the wall switch as well as the safety switch on the unit is ON before use.
Switch off after using your hair dryer and replace it in the dedicated casing.

Kitchenettes

We have fitted your room with a kitchenette for your convenience. Your beautifully equipped kitchenettes are there for your convenience. Kindly ensure that all equipment remains on site upon departure:

The fridge is supplied with extras. Please check the price list and make sure that you settle the bill before checking out. A dustbin is supplied and fitted in one of the cupboards. Do make use of it. Kindly do not eat on the bed.

Laundry

We supply a laundry bag in your cupboard.
Should you wish us to assist you with your laundry, please advise the office.
We will do our utmost to take a great deal of care in doing it and to return the laundry to your room on the same day.
Laundry is done at your own risk and is charged according to the price list supplied.

The Saldanha Library has an excellent selection of books and magazines.

Parking

Our parking areas have designated parking for each unit. Please stick to the right place in order the avoid inconvenience to other guests.
Take care to park your car in the most economical way as space is limited.
Do lock your car for safety reasons.

Restaurants

Saldanha sports an excellent variety of restaurants and coffee shops. We will gladly advise and make reservations for you. Please enquire at reception.

Safes

Safes are available for all your valuables. Please make use of this facility.

Safety

Jane’s is fully secure and provides safe parking for your vehicle.

Do take care of the keys and don’t forget to hand them in when checking out.
The keys have a remote for the gate. It will open and close automatically. It only needs to be opened from the outside.
Rooms 1, 2 and 3 have a key to enter the house as well as the room key.
Rooms 1 & 2 have keys for the veranda doors.
Room 4 & 5 have been fitted with double glazed sliding doors for your safety and convenience as they are noise proof as well.
Do lock all appropriate doors at all times to ensure safety for everybody.

Swimming

Please exercise caution when swimming in the ocean especially when children are around.
Kindly do not use your bath towels for the beach. We will provide you with beach towels. Please ask at reception.

Television

Enjoy the quality of our flat screen TV’s and select one of the available channels. TV1, 2 and 3, ETV, MNET and on DSTV we have the premium bouquet that includes the sport channels and Movie Magic 1&2. Do ask at the office desk for any specific channel on DSTV and for assistance if you encounter any problems with the reception.
We do not advise you to attempt to make any adjustments to the TV. We will charge your bill if we need to call out a technician.
Take care to keep your TV at a reasonable noise level in order to accommodate all our other guests.

Towels and Linen

Bath and swimming towels are provided. Please use accordingly. Suites are provided with high quality linen which is rotated regularly.

Tours and Transport

Jane’s will gladly arrange day tours for guests should the need arise. Please make arrangements in advance by enquiring here.

Universal Adaptors

Universal adaptors are available upon payment of a fully refundable deposit.
SA uses a 220 volt system.

Water Quality

Tap water is of excellent quality and drinkable. As water is a precious commodity, please save wherever possible.
